The Timberwolves became my favorite team in 1995 when they drafted
Kevin Garnett. I read up on Kevin and decided I will like any team that gets him. The Timberwolves had never been a great
team but I still liked them. In 1997 they made it to the playoffs for the first time thanks to Kevin Garnett. Every year
until the 2004 season, the T-Wolves had never made it past the first round of the playoffs. With the help of KG and a few
other players the Timberwolve's owner Kevin Mchale, former Celtics player, signed from the free agent pool and traded for,
the T-Wolves made it to the Western Conference finals only to be defeated by the Lakers.
